My client is looking for a Deskside Support Engineer to join them for a 6 month fixed term contract paying £26-28K (pro rata).

Key responsibilities and accountabilities, includes but not limited to:-

• Provides 1st/2nd line support to all users via the helpdesk tool, via telephone, remote support or face to face.
• Effectively troubleshoots and solves desktop IT issues.
• Installs and configures desktop PCs and laptops across the business in a timely manner.
• Provides support as required by the team to assist with any audit related tasks.
• Liaises effectively with external support as and when required to implement or resolve IT related applications
• Works as effective team member, willing to take on all tasks and own responsibility until completion
• Ensure internal customer satisfaction by understanding end user issues and effectively applying the appropriate solutions
• Drives internal customer satisfaction through the efficient help desk support service to end users
• Provides hands on face to face support within the office environment to end users in relation to desktop and laptop usage.
• Positively contributes to winning ideas and the strategy for the IT department.
• Keep up to date with the latest technological changes in relation to the business.
• Any other duty as required by management commensurate with the post.
