A large public sector organiation is looking for a Deputy Direct of HR who is ambitious, highly motivated, customer  focused and enjoys working in a collaborative style.  The HR department is managed through  

 This may be your first deputy director role, but you must be familiar with working in an NHS acute hospital setting and have a broad range of experience, including reporting to board committees and leading change projects. The department is managed through a collaborative HR Management team, and includes responsibility for recruitment and retention, Learning and Development; management information and payroll; Employee relations; HR Operatiaons; Organisation development and Staff Engagement. You will work closely with the director to provide direct line management to some services (which may change from time to time) and ensure that teams work together successfully to provide the best possible services to our internal customers. You will lead developmental projects on behalf of the director, initially including the development of diversity and inclusion initiatives and the creation of an integrated workforce plan to support our new Trust strategy.

You will need to be CIPD qualified and have experience of working in the NHS. You will need to have managed a team of about 10 and demonstrable experience of leading change management projects. Excellent report writing skills and the confidence to present to large groups.
