Reed Legal are working on behalf of a leading global tech company to assist with the recruitment of a Data Protection Paralegal.
The role will be supporting the DPO on a global basis with occasional travel to our London office and maybe overseas required.
You will be able to demonstrate practical Data Protection and GDPR experience as a Paralegal or Legal Executive from a Private Practice or In-House environment.

Review responses to DP surveys submitted by third parties, i.e. identify inadequate responses, collect additional data.
Assist in managing, tracking and reviewing Data Processing Addendums (DPAs)
Assist asset owners with completing records of processing.
Provide guidance to other members of organization on data protection matters.
Correspond with customers regarding data protection matters.
Assist incident response team in case of data breach incident 24 x 7 x 365
Monitor internal audit review requirements
Adhere to organisational policies and procedures
Assist in managing content of the DP area of the website
Perform daily tasks including monitoring, tracking, alerting and changing organisational compliance
Any other duties as assigned by manager
Legal background as a Paralegal/Legal Executive with Data Protection work experience
Relevant data protection qualification or the ability to demonstrate appropriate skills and knowledge
Excellent language skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of MS Office suite
Experience in maintaining spreadsheets/databases
