Reed Warrington are working with industry market leaders based in Warrington, who are currently recruiting a Customer Service Representative, supporting the sales team. Candidates are required to be immediately available, the position will start as soon as the successful candidate is interviewed.

This position is an contract opportunity until the end of December 2017. 

The equivalent annual salary is £19,000 (hourly rate of £10.01) and the hours of work are Monday – Thursday 08:30 – 17:00 and Friday 08:30 – 16:00.

The core responsibilities of this role are to achieve a positive outcome for both my client and their customer’s in response to all inbound customer service calls.

Duties

• Check availability of stock.
• Load customer orders into SAP
• Ensure that orders placed are checked in regards to price and delivery expectations
• Communicate warnings to customers where my client will not achieve an On Time Delivery
• Dealing with inbound customer queries regarding short shipments, damaged shipments, shipments made in error.
• Liaising with 3rd Party Log Suppliers to resolve these customer complaints.
• Dealing with customer requests to return product.
• Dealing with inbound customer queries with regards to faults and claims
• Liaising with correct level of people to resolve and feedback next steps to customer.
• Dealing with invoice queries with credit control and field sales engineers fixing the problem or passing to team leader
• Where required carry out fulfillment activities e.g. order creation for consignment warehouse and create delivery documentation.
• Any other adhoc duties as assigned by the Line Manager.

Professional Knowledge and Skills

• Understanding of the technology used to support customer service e.g. SAP (Ideally)
• Basic level of Microsoft Office & Outlook
• Knowledge of customers and their requirements
• Knowledge of Customer Service Processes
• Outstanding service and quality orientation
• Ability to resolve customer service issues
• Ability to build relationships with other team members and the sales organisation.
• Advanced oral communication skills
• Ability to maintain and establish professional relationships with the customer.
