REED Business Support is proud to be recruiting for a Customer Service Manager for a globally recognised, multi-million £ manufacturing and distribution business based in Chorley.

With their head office based in Ohio, this American established company have been trading successfully for years and are dominating the market continuing to double in both size and turnover year on year. Looking to build upon their UK & European market presence, we are looking to recruit for a Customer Service Manager to join their team.

As the Customer Service Manager your primary role will be to focus on liaison with customers of the company’s products in the UK & EU. Supporting departmental development your goal will be to provide an efficient, professional and leading customer service.


On a day to day basis your responsibilities as Customer Service Manager will include…
- Acting as the first point of contact for customers in the UK & EU
- Answering email and phone enquiries relating to feedback on products, customer enquiries, product queries and handling any complaints
- Building the Customer Services team, putting in place team SLA’s, KPI’s and training programs ensuring these targets are met
- Implementing new ideas within the team for customer communication
- Liaising with the USA head office to discuss new ideas and implement new processes

Salary, Hours & Benefits:
- Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm with 1 hour for lunch. June through August Summer hours induction meaning a 12pm finish on Friday providing you’ve worked 37.5 hours
- £26,000 - £32,000 per annum (depending upon experience)
- 12% discretionary bonus based on company and individual targets, quarterly sales bonuses of £250 every quarter, plus a Xmas bonus of £250 and a turkey or wine
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (3 saved for Xmas)
- Pension scheme (company or auto enrolment option)
- Life Insurance (4 x salary)
