An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a fantasticmodern, and forward thinking business in Penrith. They are a global and growing organisation and they are re looking for a super star to join their Customer Service Team!

You will join a team of 8 experienced Customer Service Executives where you will be responsible for handling all customer client contact.

The role

• Provide outstanding telephone based support/customer service to all customers
• Handle appropriate administrative tasks as required to complete your daily duties
• Offer technical advice where possible using online resources and troubleshooting guides
• Coordinate and log on-site repairs and service via field service staff
• Hold specific responsibilities for key markets/segments as designated by the Team Leader
• Handle after sales follow-up calls
• Work closely with the Technical Representatives to ensure field service KPI’s for first time fix are realised by ensuring only essential calls are received by the field based engineers.
• Support van stock checks, stock cleanses etc. as required
• Maximise internal and external opportunities to sell parts, accessories, labour/travel and service contracts.
• Establish a good working relationship with customers, colleagues and external sales partners
• Take ownership of all after sales related matters
• Find solutions to day to day problems
• Take ownership for day to day processes and suggest improvements as and when necessary
• Make demands on superiors and ensure continuous improvement takes place
• Promote local/national corporate image and public relations

Person Specification

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Excellent phone manner
• Previous customer service experience is necessary
• Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Excel & Word
• Attention to detail
• Analytical & Proactive approach
• Calm & Helpful approach when dealing with customers
• Ability to learn new skills and absorb information
• Team player


22 days holiday + bank holidays increase 1 day per year up to a maximum of 25 days. 3 to be taken between Christmas & New Year
