You will be working for a forward thinking and rapidly expanding company!

You will be providing technical support for a unique energy saving product - helping UK home owners to sore and use electricity more efficiently!

The Customer Service Engineer will report to the Project and Operations Manager but support the whole of the team to deliver impeccable technical customer service as the business grows.

The role is approximately 95% office desk based, supporting installers, troubleshooting and helping customers with their product.

Major tasks include:
Quickly becoming the expert in the team relating to the installation, service, maintenance and operation of the product/unit.
Answering phone calls and emails from customers and installers with technical questions
Supporting the sales team to answer technical questions (keeping an up to date FAQ list and training the team to deal with questions during the sales process)
Supporting delivery and installation of major customer trials and monitoring progress
Being the expert in what our existing customers think of the product to feedback to the design and sales teams on how we can improve.

The ideal candidate would have the following qualities and experience:
Strong electrical/electronics technical background
Good understanding of electrics/electronics to be able to understand the components and workings of the product
Strong customer service ethos and experience in dealing with domestic customers, possibly as a service engineer
Strong focus on safety
A desire to work both in and out of the office environment
Full UK driving licence and able to drive car/small van.
