Reed are seeking a number of experienced Customer Service Advisors to handle a variety of inbound customer enquiries via the telephone, digital and electronically on behalf of a client based in Birmingham Business Park,. Successful candidates will form part of a team responsible for delivering excellent customer service within the Social Housing.
You will be the first point of contact, responding to service requests on a range of issues including housing management, anti-social behaviour, repairs, and complaints.
Our ideal candidate will be:
- A competent communicator
- Have previous experience of working in a busy customer service environment.
- Able to demonstrate effective listening and communication skills at all levels on the telephone.
- Thrive under the pressure of managing a large volume of challenging calls, whilst delivering a high quality of service.
Data inputting is essential along with experience of problem solving and dispute resolution.
What you will need to know:
HOURS: Customer Service colleagues operate weekdays between 8am – 6pm - Adviser shift patterns would be within these times (for example 8am – 4pm or 10am – 6pm)
SALARY: The starting salary is £20,917. This is a temporary to permeant opportunity
START DATE: Start date for the training is on 5th October
TRAINING: There will be a 4 week training programme – please ensure that you are able to commit to attending.
COMPLIANCE: A clear basic DBS check will need to be obtained for successful applicants before starting in the role. This is due to having access to sensitive information within the role. If successful, Reed can process this for you.
