Customer Service Coordinator

I am currently recruiting for a construction company based in the Chelmsford area. They are looking for someone to work as a Customer Service Coordinator, dealing with customers on the phones and over email on a daily basis.

Role Duties:

- Point of contact for customer calls, making sure they are answered professionally and dealt with in the appropriate manner
- Escalating some calls to Customer Service Manager to ensure all defects are dealt with by the appropriate personnel
- Log/monitor all calls on to company system
- Liaise with sub-contractors to ensure maintenance requests are carried out
- Liaise with other departments – ordering materials etc
- Carry out courtesy calls to customers
- Update weekly reports and distribute to relevant personnel
- Carry out other ad-hoc administration duties

Personal skills & Experience needed:

- Experience working in administration/Secretarial role
- Previous experience in customer service environment
- Intermediate to advanced level on all MS Systems
- Team player, supportive of colleagues
- Excellent Telephone skills
- Experience within the construction sector
