Title: Curriculum team leader - Computing and digital

Due to the ever growing demand of the Computing & Digital curriculum an exciting opportunity as arisen for a motivated individual with excellent communication and organisational skills. The candidate must be passionate about developing & improving opportunities for furthering the education for young people.

You will work closely with the Curriculum Manager, taking on responsibility for the co-ordination of all the FE Computing & Digital provision at the college. You will be a proactive and committed leader and team-worker, capable of working effectively with multiple awarding bodies, employers and have the creative thinking, problem-solving ability and the drive to ensure the FE Provision continues to grow, is responsive and progressive. You should have a good understanding of the Further Education system and the challenges that programmes of study in FE brings. The role will involve driving the quality of the FE programmes forward and developing new links with stakeholders including liaising with businesses and companies to secure work placements, projects and sponsorship.

You will teach and assess on a range of courses and programmes, both across the FE and HE levels, undertaking the necessary planning, preparation and assessment to ensure excellent teaching and learning occurs. In addition you will play a key role in providing pre and on-course guidance to support learners to successful outcomes.

You must be an outstanding and experienced lecturer with a passion for the subject and thoroughness in your approach and able to deliver Computing & Digital based courses to level 3. Experience of leading a team is also desirable.
