Help play your part in the fight against Covid -19 and support Oldham with their Mass Testing programme.
Mass Covid19 Testing is being rolled out across Greater Manchester and we have a number of opportunities for people to play a valuable role in the programme in Oldham.
4 Test Sites and 3 mobile outreach teams are being set up across Oldham to identify asymptomatic individuals to help stop the spread of Covid-19, save lives and enable our residents to return to normal life.
We are seeking temporary staff to carry out a number of operational roles at these sites. These roles are on an initial 2 month basis starting in February.
Roles available (although you are likely to alternate across all jobs):
Site operative - Helping manage the site and supporting subjects through the testing process. From queue management, to registration and supporting testing. Due to the working environment of this role, you will need to be comfortable with working outdoors.
Testing operative - Conducting the processing and analysis of tests to ensure the process is conducted accurately and uploaded to the system
Key skills required:
- Customer service skills
- Basic administration Skills
- Ability to work as part of a Team
Pre employment requirements:
- A Basic DBS check
- Successful completion of a 3 hour online training course
If appointed, you will receive full training and orientation before commencing the role and PPE equipment appropriate for your role will be provided
You will be allocated to one of the following sites:
- Oldham Community Leisure Centre
- Shaw Life Long Learning
- Failsworth Town Hall
- Uppermill Civic Hall
- One of the 3 Mobile Outreach Teams
