Oxford City Council working with Oxfordshire County Council Public Health has been selected to offer Lateral Flow Testing, which can detect the COVID-19 virus in asymptomatic people, as part of the Government response to COVID-19.
The testing programme will increase in capacity on a week by week basis with an ambition of administering up to 8,000 tests a week. As part of the effort there may be a requirement to expand the existing team, so that the centre is open 7 days a week, 8am to 8pm.
In order to resource the test centres efficiently, we are looking for a number of people to support both the Testing Operations (responsible for supporting and recording tests) and the Site Operations (responsible for supporting the customer through end-to-end testing experience and the wider site operations).
Everyone will be trained for both roles with the expectation they can cover any role should the need arise to ensure the smooth running of the testing site.
The programme is currently open at the The Kings Centre, Osney Mead, Oxford open Monday to Friday,
