An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading global developer and property investment firm as a Corporate Finance Manager.

This Corporate Finance Manager role will support the CFO and Executive Directors in development project bank financing negotiations and executions. Due to a strong development pipeline and potential growth plans my client requires an experienced finance professional who can take lead on the funding requirements for a number of projects and target acquisitions.

My client are an ambitious company with big plans and this Corporate Finance role will certainly have potential for progression with successful individuals being recognised and rewarded accordingly.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Assessing funding options
• Managing ongoing relationships with lenders/investors, to potentially source debt quicker in the future
• Organising and managing transaction process internally and with third parties
• Financial Modelling of alternative capital structures, financing options and debt capacity analysis
• Working closely with management teams and company directors to prepare management presentations and information memoranda
• Assessing financing offers and negotiating proposed financing terms
• Commercial negotiation of banking documentation
• Reviewing business plans and management assumptions
• Financial and commercial analysis of financing offers and projected transactions
• Project management of the transaction process, becoming the organisations main point of contact with potential lenders, legal advisors and other stakeholders which could include but not limited to offshore entities, advisors and parent company representatives

Experience and skills required:
• 4-6 years’ experience in development or construction bank financing from either client of bank side
• Strong academic record, ideally ACA/ACCA accounting qualification but CIMA will be considered, 4-6 years PQE
• Big four or practice background will be highly regarded
• Experience working within property, real estate or construction, must have property development financing experience 
• Ideally experience within a larger property development company, bank, independent advisory house or corporate finance boutique
• Emerging markets working experience or conditions where you need to be creative and bespoke in how you source debt
• Ability to think strategically about the growth of the position
• Experience working for lender and ability to explain the credit process
• Detailed knowledge of leveraged/cashflow lending and a solid understand of banking products such as asset-based lending
• High level understanding of banking documentation and legal structuring of development/construction debt finance and corporate finance transactions
• Skills to influence and work alongside senior management teams, owner managed and private equity backed companies
• Debt structures financial modelling experience
• High level relationships with London corporate finance market with a focus on local lenders and international banks
• Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence to interaction with different stakeholders
• Strong commercial judgement, analytical skills and capacity to think laterally and solve problems but still maintain high level attention to detail
