We have a fantastic opportunity for a Contract and Performance Manager, working at a Leading Local Authority in Greater Manchester. This is a temporary full-time role, initially for the next 2 - 3 months.

The Role

Your role will be to work in the Adult Learning team, maximising access to learning for Adults, bringing new opportunities and improving lives, focusing on the social and economic well-being of individuals, families and communities. You will be part of a team that delivers a high standard of customer service to learners, colleagues, tutors, stakeholders and other professionals.

 

Duties

To be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the range on M.I. systems required to meet the audit and budget requirements of funding agencies.

Also, to be responsible for the collection, audit, and provision of date returns to contracting bodies (e.g. Education and Skills Funding Agency, Greater Manchester Combined Authority, European Social Fund etc.) within the set audit time constraints.

Produce and analysis statistical reports to ensure effective use to make informed decisions for the Service.

Provide financial information and direction to support the service in effective strategic planning.

Develop annual objectives for the performance and management information function which supports the overall priorities in the service plan.

Implement and develop an effective performance management framework that enables the service and its providers to monitor, evaluate and deliver on its key priorities.

Analyse the performance management of contractors, suppliers and procured services to ensure best value and standards of delivery are met.

Ensure team members are working effectively and efficiently, delivering a high-quality service to all learners and stakeholders.

To make sure all information and guidance relating to the AEB is updated to reflect the government contract.

Key Requirements

  • Full UK Driving Licence, and access to a vehicle.
  • Previous Contract and performance Manager experience within a local authority Desired
  • Must have excellent planning/project management skills to complete all tasks within the position.
  • Excellent people skills, being able to talk to clients, all colleagues and senior professionals.
