A Fantastic opportunity has arise for a high performing All Girls Secondary School in Enfield are looking for an Computing and ICT Teacher to join their team in January
With ongoing 'Outstanding' grading from Ofsted and very engaging students you are sure to enjoy your time at this school.

The school is set near to the national links (Enfield Town) and has local buses running regularly. In addition there is a large free car park and local cafes and high street shops.

The school is an all Girls school with a great sense of community and support for all and are way above the national average for grades.

With a large staff room and great facilities you are able to 'relax' on your break in a comfortable atmosphere or if you prefer you can sit on the large greenery surroundings.

This position offers MPS and UPS and can either be through the agency or on a permanent basis (depending on your preference)

The school has recently been awarded the Gold Standard from the Institute of Education / UCL for the quality of our CPD.

The Computing and ICT department currently has 2 experienced specialist teachers and
a Schools Direct Computing and ICT teacher.
There is six ICT rooms, all with computers that have been recently purchased. Each
room has a projector and whiteboard and a range of cameras, printers and other
peripherals for students to use.
At Key Stage 3, Computing and ICT is taught as an individual subject as well as being
embedded in other areas of the curriculum. All students have a one hour lesson of
computing each week.
At Key Stage 4 students may opt for GCSE Computing or GCSE ICT and will receive 5
hours of lessons over two weeks.

The department is a committed team, offering regular lunch time and after school workshops to
support the students. Lunchtime workshops are also provided by the ICT technicians at
both sites to a outstanding level.

You will be required to teach OCR Computer Science and up to key stage 4 ICT.

The Ideal candidate will have:

Experience teaching Computing and ICT within the UK/USA/Australia or New Zealand
Be able to teach the Computing and ICT to  key stage 3 and 4 (7-11 years)
Be able to start in Jan 17'
Able to provide references for the last two years of your working history
