Do you have previous compliance experience?

My client on the outskirts of Ipswich are looking for a Compliance Officer to join their company to deal with customer enquiries and complaints that arise and ensure policies and standards are being followed at all times.

What’s involved?
This is an office based role, however there may be scope to work from home, and you will be undertaking the following duties:
Follow the consumer complaints process and co-ordinate any onsite investigations that may be required.
Assist technicians with providing compliance duties in a timely manner
Assist with actioning suspensions when registrants fail to correct raised non-conformities
Assist with the reporting system of non-registered technicians.
Provide reports for compliance meetings and any statistical data as and when required.
Provide support with changes to a trading name.

Why you?
You will ideally have a knowledge and understanding of the heating and plumbing industry and be confident with British Standards and Building Regulations. It is essential that you have previous experience of compliance but they can teach you their industry. You will be confident and able to manage consumers expectations, able to communicate factual information and be resilient with difficult complaints. This role has the scope to progress into a management position in the future so you must be confident managing a small team. You will be required to attend management meetings.

What’s in it for you?
Salary will be dependent on experience but will range from £25,000-£28,000.
Hours are Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.
Holiday starts at 20 days per annum and rises annually by one day per year until a maximum 25 days is met. 3 days must be used for their Christmas shut down period.
