My client on the outskirts of Ipswich are looking for a Compliance Technical Officer to join their company to deal with customer enquiries and complaints that arise and ensure policies and standards are being followed at all times.
This is an office based role and you will be undertaking the following duties:
Manage the consumer complaints process and co-ordinate any onsite investigations that may be required.
Oversee the co-ordination of overdue inspections in a timely manner.
Provide advice on dispute resolution.
Manage a reporting system of non-registered installers
Report to the relevant building control department when required.
Control the warranty scheme for building regulation non-compliance
Assist with the reporting system of non-registered technicians.
Provide reports for compliance meetings and any statistical data as and when required.
Provide support with changes to a trading name.
You will ideally have a knowledge and understanding of the heating and plumbing industry and be confident with British Standards and Building Regulations. However, if you come from a compliance background in another industry, I would also like to hear from you. You will be confident and able to manage consumers expectations, able to communicate factual information and be resilient with difficult complaints. What’s in it for you?
Salary will be dependent on experience but will range from £30,000-£34,000.
Hours are Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.
Holiday starts at 20 days per annum and rises annually by one day per year until a maximum 25 days is met. 3 days must be used for their Christmas shut down period.
