An exciting opportunity has become available for a Company Accountant to join a well-established company in the Care sector. The role will initially be part time but will be increased to full time in the coming months.
You will be managing approximately 65 employees, which due to growth, is expected to increase to over 100. You will be responsible for overseeing the operation of the Accounting Department, developing and managing budgets, processing company financial data, providing strategic analysis on company financials, developing forecasts and scenario planning, producing financial statements and reports and producing management accounts. This role requires you to complete the Payroll process and deal with all payroll queries, including managing new starters and leavers and P60 collation, so Payroll experience is essential. You will also be involved in various projects including a cost reduction programme and the implementation of a new automated invoice system.
You must have experience of using Sage or an equivalent payroll & accounting package, and have a relevant qualification such as an Accounting degree, AAT, CIMA or ACCA to be considered. An enhanced DBS check will be required.
This is an excellent opportunity in a growing business. The client is paying a salary of up to £40,000 plus benefits including an additional weeks annual leave for length of service, Birthdays off and rewards such as experience days and short breaks.
