Reporting to the Financial Controller and working closely with the Board of Directors, you will be responsible for the supervision of the accounts department, which controls the purchase ledger, sales ledger and banking for their busy retail, warehousing and removals businesses.
The successful candidate will have, at minimum, an AAT qualification and five years' experience of accountancy, payroll and Sage.
Primary responsibilities include preparation and payment of salaries for 300 employees, compilation and presentation of company accounts, cash flow management and coordination of the annual audit.
As a senior manager, you will be expected to prioritise your own workload and work flexibly to hit deadlines, whilst demonstrating 100% accuracy and attention to detail.
