The Traffic Coordinator is the central contact point for all projects work that flows through the in-house advertising agency. This role is responsible for the management and tracking of all projects that funnel through the Creative Services department. This includes the intake of project information from Marcom Managers, assigning of project numbers and tracking tasks from copywriters, designers and developers. He/she will also be responsible for updating the project tracker and project list daily, running weekly traffic meetings and daily check in to ensure efficiency and communication with clients if deadlines shift.

Responsibilities
The Traffic Coordinator will reinforce timelines and build out project plans in the project management system (Liquid Planner now & then DaVinci). This role assigns tasks to team members, monitors resource requirements and alerts the appropriate staff when a project is at risk of being behind schedule. The Traffic Coordinator is an empowered facilitator.
• The Traffic Coordinator acts as the primary client contact for new and assigned projects, developing relationships with MarCom and working closely with them to learn, and sometimes help define, their business and communication needs.
• Coordinate with and support the creative services team regarding project definition, deliverables and needs.
• Ensures that project scope and requirements are clearly defined, approved by marcom, and understood by the creative services team.
• Coordinates project timing
• Implementation, execution and maintenance of project schedules that identify key milestones, project dependencies, and project resources required to bring programs to life on time
• Oversee day-to-day internal communications regarding project status and communicate to internal stakeholders and support

Required Qualifications:
• 5-7 years' work experience in related field within the in-house design, agency and production environment.
• Proficient with MS Office programs and Adobe CS Suite.
• Ability to develop and implement strategies and programs that support and help meet business objectives.
• Ability to effectively interact with graphic designers, client service managers and other members of the marketing communications team as well as with outside vendors.
• Ability to handle a large number of jobs effectively.
• Bachelor's Degree (major in marketing, communications, web design, fine arts, graphic design preferred).
• Self-motivated, self-starter, hardworking and enthusiastic
• Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team and be proactive bringing forward new ideas in support of a project
• Highly organized, attentive to detail, assertive, flexible and able to prioritize own workload.
