Senior Commercial Account Handler - South Yorkshire £20,000 - £30,000 Dependent upon experience.

I am delighted to be retained by a National Insurance Broker to work in partnership with them, to recruit a Senior Account Handler, to join their growing team.
This is the perfect opportunity to join a team of experienced Commercial Insurance Account Handlers to deal with all aspects of Commercial Insurance Broking.
It will involve you working closely with Commercial Account Executives, helping to build a profitable client base and generating income to or above agreed targets in line with the business plan.
There are excellent opportunities to progress within this firm and support with courses and Insurance examinations.

As a successful Senior Commercial Account Handler you daily accountabilities will include:

•To achieve all agreed targets for commercial insurance products and ensure systems and procedures are properly maintained.
•Maintain an excellent standard of customer service.
•Produce clear and concise correspondence and prioritise your work to ensure deadlines are met.
•Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of Insurance Markets and commercial insurance covers including FSA competence requirements.
•Deal with client enquiries.
•Processing and finalising renewals as allocated to you, including issuing invoices and credits and liaising with the Accounts Department.
•Maintain accurate and complete computer records for each risk.
•General duties to assist the Branch.

•Ability after training to present complex information in clear, simple terms.
•The drive to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
•Strong numeracy and literacy, along with good keyboard skills.
•Smart appearance.
•The highest standard of integrity and honesty.

•Good general education, preferably to ‘A’ Level or equivalent to include English and Maths GCSE or equivalent.
All levels of individual will be considered from SME through to MID Corporate experience

In return you will receive a salary dependent upon your experience of between £20k - £30k
The opportunity to progress to an Account Executive if this is the route that you wish to take.

•A working week of 37.5 hours plus flexibility as required.
•Operational hours are 9:00 – 5:30 Monday – Friday.
