An outstanding opportunity to join one of Oxfordshire's most respected employers, as a Commercial Analyst within a small and dynamic team. This position plays a pivotal position in providing accurate and timely reporting information, used to assist in profitable business decision making. 

As a Part-Qualified candidate (in ACCA/CIMA), you will be required to act as an effective business partner, advising on the performance, profitability and feasibility of various projects.

As the Commercial Analyst, you will be accountable for the following areas: 

- Assisting the Manager in the provision of quality financial and commercial support
- Regular creation of reports and analysis, which detail performance across a range of business areas, this will include the creation of KPI's which will enhance commercial understanding throughout the business. Then communicating these to non-financial Managers
- Assisting the Manager with the budgeting process, creating clear and concise templates, collating and analysing data with commentaries
- Responsible for the production of various ad-hoc reports, ensuring they are understood and used at all levels. Creating a monthly business pack and performance trackers, including variance analysis with commentaries
- Assisting with the production of schedules required for reporting
- Providing retrospective reviews of notable events with regards to performance, to inform of potential future success. 



Candidates will be required to have the following experience/skills/attributes and level of qualification:

- CIMA or ACCA Part-Qualified, or at least underway with studies, sitting initial papers
- Experience within a highly commercially focused accounting position, with some exposure to reporting/profit and loss 
- Advanced Excel skills, to include experience of VLookups, Pivot Tables and potentially Macros
- Experience in using SAP/Oracle or a large management reporting system
- You will have an exceptionally high attention to detail, be well organised and able to manage a complex and varying workload 
- You will be confident in liaising with staff members of various seniority, regularly conveying financial information to non-finance managers.
