A long standing, family run managed services provider with an outstanding reputation are seeking an experienced 1st/2nd line support technician to deal with their ever increasing BAU support needs. This role is based in Colchester Business Park.

Working closely with and directly reporting to the MD, you will be looking after the businesses client base from general helpdesk support queries to client site installations and configurations. The successful candidate will be supporting hardware builds and software support projects and initiatives for a number of clients (mainly local).

This role will require travel to various customer sites (mostly local) throughout the month so you will need a valid / clean driving license to be considered.

Salary- £23-30k per annum DoE

Responsibilities for the Helpdesk / Desktop support / 1st line / 2nd line Technician
• Local and remote hardware / network / Software
• Meet SLA & KPI’s with a number of different clients
• Networking and Infrastructure maintenance
• Hardware setup, build & deployment
• Troubleshooting
• Delivering full resolution IT Support
• System Administration
• Account Management

Key requirements for Helpdesk / Desktop support / 1st line / 2nd line Technician
Please note candidates from a Managed Services background will be favoured
• MS Office
• 365
• Active Directory
• Windows Server
• Microsoft Exchange
• Networking WAN / LAN
• Firewalls / VPN
• Full / Clean Driving License
• VMware (desired)
• Citrix (desired)
• VLAN (desired)
• MCSE (desired)
