An ideal opportunity for an individual seeking a professional career within the pensions industry has arisen. My client are a national firm specialising in offering financial advice and services to a range of private and corporate individuals. After your probation period, financial study support will be provided for the relevant industry qualifications.

This role will suit someone who has worked within an IFA capacity, participating in the composition of suitability reports alongside various Administration duties. It is ideal for a person who would like to make the next step towards Paraplanning.


DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow through to completion ensuring the CRM is up to date
• Prepare annual review valuations
• Address and answer clients’ and intermediaries’ administrative queries
• Process client income requirements under instruction from the Planner
• Process cash movements to DFMs under instruction from the Planner
• Undertake any projects or duties requested by the Planners or Principals in a timely and accurate fashion


• Understand and ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business and delivering fair outcomes to clients.
• Prepare client review packs for Planner’s client meetings
• Maintain recurring activities for reviews, cash balance queries and drawdown reviews



Knowledge & experience

• Previous relevant client services administration experience gained within an IFA environment focused on holistic financial planning for private clients encompassing pensions, investment and protection.
• Demonstrates administration experience of the complete life cycle of processing client business
• High standard of competency and knowledge of:
• CRM system and client reporting, previous experience of XPLAN would be preferable (or a comparable package)
• IT systems and software (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) including provider websites for processing
