This is a temporary Children's Social Worker within the Child Protection Team. In this role you will benefit from a competitive hourly rate whilst having the opportunity to work in a professional and vibrant environment. Within this role you will be working with children and their families on protection plans, looked after children and children in need reviews and assessments, you will do this with a child centred outlook in order to provide the best possible social intervention. You will be overseeing Child Protection care proceedings, attending court, providing court reports, attending LAC reviews and attending case conferences. Overall you will work towards achieving the best possible outcome for the Children in Need and Looked after Children.
Requirements for the role: Will need to hold a recognised social work qualification and be registered with Social Care England
A minimum of two years post qualifying experience in statutory child care setting, to support your ability for this role.
