 My Client a manufacturing company based in the south of Aberdeen, have a vacancy for a Business Development Manager/Account Manager. This would suit an experienced rep with previous experience doing B2B sales with and without appointments. This role is not office based, predominately you would be out on the road servicing clients therefore the successful candidate must be self-motivated and confident to work alone. In exchange for your hard work you will receive a company car and phone, training/ongoing support, and the opportunity to work for a company with an established product. Basic Salary is £34,000 - £40,000, depending on experience, realistic on target earnings after bonus are £60,000+

Duties:
Manage and grow sales with existing clients, meeting with them onsite and processing orders
Stopping in at new target businesses, giving product demonstrations, generating sales out of opportunities
Meeting or exceeding sales goals
Negotiating all prices and volumes with prospective clients
Giving sales demonstrations to a range of prospective clients
Coordinating sales efforts with other reps on the road
Understanding and promoting company programs
Maintaining client records
Answering client questions about credit terms, products, prices and availability
Sales Representative Requirements:

Experience in Business to Business Sales
Resilience, this role is primarily based out on the road, when you are having a bad day you need to be able to pick yourself up and go into the next pitch and deliver
Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
Ability to create urgency and close sales orders with existing and new clients
Enjoy the competitive aspect of sales, competing against yourself and colleagues to beat old records
