To be responsible for the definition and execution of the business change strategy to establish the new unit . The post-holder will lead on selection of business change delivery approaches, implementation planning and management and stakeholder engagements up to director level. 

  • To be responsible for the definition and execution of the business change strategy to establish the new unit ‘Cambridge Partnership for Education’.  Identify business change delivery options and propose approach. Operate at director level to present, refine and gain approval for proposals.


  • Understand target operating model and organisation design and help to refine (if available soon enough).  Identify changes required to migrate to the Cambridge Partnership for Education unit from the existing team structures.  Develop and execute transition plan covering all aspects including organisational, physical moves, process change, moving to different systems and establishing reporting.  Manage issues and risks arising, reporting to director level on progress.


  • Conduct change impact assessment of the transition to the new unit.  Plan, design and deliver learning and other change interventions to provide a smooth transition to the new unit and to ensure that new tools and processes are adopted and embedded.


  • Develop and own the stakeholder management strategy for the change programme.  Define and execute the approach to mapping and engagement of all stakeholders within Cambridge Assessment and Cambridge University Press.  Define and deliver the communications plan.


Provide people development for business change including learning and communications resources.  Champion the business change agenda within the new unit and across stakeholder groups, including upskilling and mentoring as required and develop business resources to build a change capability across the team, as beyond the initial transition period the management of change will be an ongoing requirement.
