My client, a large consumer brand is now recruiting a Category Marketing Manager to join their fast paced, dynamic marketing team based in Cheshire. Applicants must have extensive Marketing, Brand, Product or Category experience within a consumer durable/fmcg sector on a global spectrum. 

Key Responsibilities: 
Development & implementation of a 5 year marketing plan underpinned with clear business strategies to grow the brand across UK and international markets
Alignment with leadership team, communication to key stake holders and importantly sales team buy-in
P&L responsibility to drive the brand forward 
Lead the development of a global product pipeline ensuring regular new product launches in the years to come to excite the market fueling the growth strategies
Development of global business model to drive in-market success including guidelines for: portfolio & pricing strategy, brand communication & media strategy, channel mix & trade marketing strategy
Lead the development of the annual Global Marketing Activation and Product Launch strategy and plan
Work closely with Communication team to develop global communication platforms incl. Digital & Social Media, PR, Print etc.
Lead the development of global sales marketing collateral, brochures, POS guidelines, trade and customer show strategy etc to make sure the sales teams are fully equipped

Skills Required:
Educated to Degree level
Must have extensive experience working in a senior marketing role preferably within FMCG/Consumer Durable sectors 
Possess a strong marketing, product, brand or category background within a FMCG/Consumer Durable sector (preferred) 
Proven leadership experience within a brand-led consumer business 
Experience of trade marketing would be an advantage
Proven experience of taking brands to market on an international level 
Experience of P&L ownership and with good understanding of how to impact the P&L
Commercially minded, ROI focused
Experience of new product development from start to completion 
Experience of operating in a growing multinational business (International experience)
Ability to multitask in a high pressure entrepreneurial environment
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to deliver through relationships at all levels
Ability and aptitude for working effectively with and leading cross-functional teams
Experience of digital, social media and e-commerce channels of communication
Experience in owning and developing relationships with agencies (digital, advertising, BTL, PR) 
Strategically minded, but able to be hands-on
Company Benefits:
Salary ranging from £50k-£55k Basic (Depending on experience) + Bonus
