IT Category Manager
REED Procurement & Supply Chain are recruiting for a public sector entity based in Bridgend. The organisation are searching for a Category Manager to support in all of their commercial, procurement, tendering and contract management activities. You will have an excellent knowledge and experience of Public Contract Regulations 2015 and all applicable UK and EU procurement legislation.
In addition, will need to have a good commercial awareness, excellent communication and relationship management skills with an ability to work as part of a team as well as on an individual level.
The Category Manager will contribute towards the delivering and managing of high value & risk solutions utilising latest best practice category management principles. All to manage key category areas of the business reporting monthly category trends and forward planning.
- Strong Procurement ICT experience
- Private or Public Sector Background.
- Working knowledge of public sector procurement – Public Contract Regulations 2015
- CIPS qualified
- Full OJEU understanding
- High Value Contract Management
- Manage High Value/Complex Tenders End to End
