Reed Accountancy are working with a leading York based business in the search for a Part Time Finance Assistant. The roe will be for two days per week and will come with a competitive salary, company pension, life assurance and annual bonus.
You will be responsible for:
- Monitoring and reconciling of the Head Office bank accounts and ensuring the in house IT system reflects bank receipts and payments at all times, including both accurate posting and correct VAT treatment.
- Raising payments both within the Group and to external parties, from expense claims to high value treasury payments.
- Support other members of the Head Office finance team at peak times, assisting with purchase ledger, payment processing and other areas as required.
You will be able to demonstrate:
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience in an accounts assistant, or purchase ledger role.
- You must be accurate and proficient in numeracy.
- You must have a positive outlook together with a professional attitude, and be confident in dealing with both internal finance teams around the UK, external suppliers and Senior Management.
