A very exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Canteen Manager to set up and run an employee and visitor canteen at a head office site in Norwich. The successful candidate will take overall responsibility for the Canteen, including the planning and creating of the menu and preparation of it, stock ordering, food and service standards and quality, cleaning, and health and safety.

The role includes:
Overall responsibility for the running of the Canteen,
Line management of employees within this department, and rota scheduling,
Preparation and cooking of Canteen foods
Overall responsibility of Health & Hygiene standards,
Ordering of stock
Responsibility within the Canteen and enforcing company policies and procedures

The successful candidates will have:
Exceptional communication skills
Ability to lead by example and strong and committed professional work ethic
Strong people management skills, with the ability to motivate and have fun
The ability to work under pressure in a busy canteen environment
This role is for 30 hours per week, between the hours of 8:30am - 4:30pm (dependent on shift pattern) with a 30 minute unpaid break. Overtime is available.

28 days of holiday including bank holidays and there are long service entitlements available.
The role will include weekend and bank holiday working, and the hourly rate for this role will be set dependent on experience.
