Art or Design Technology Teacher
Are you a Brilliant Art or Design Technology Teacher who is creative and forward thinking?


We are looking to recruit talented and engaging Teachers to join our Art and Design Technology Team in Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire and Milton Keynes. This post is suitable for an enthusiastic teacher looking for a new opportunity to develop their skills and experience, looking to work in a new Environment.

What you will need:

• An Art or D&T specialism
• QTS or QTLS

As a Teacher of Art or Design & Technology you will be part of a hardworking team, work in a professional environment and be confident in using integrated technology in the class room.

To carry out the general duties of a qualified teacher:

Participate fully in whole school, year group, and lesson planning.

Co-ordinate / act as a subject specialist in the designated curriculum area including monitoring and assessment.

Monitor and assess pupil results and progress, ensuring that appropriate records have been kept in line with school policy.

 

As a Teacher working in the school you will be expected to:

Support the schools pastoral system within the year group, class and with individual
pupils.

Effectively utilise support staff and resources within the class.

Play a full part in the life of the school community, supporting the ethos of the school
and encouraging staff, pupils and parents to do likewise.

Comply with school policies and procedures in areas such as assessment, marking,
behaviour management, communication with parents, teaching English as an additional language, cover, induction, short and long term planning, staff meetings and parental events.

Maintain good behaviour within the classroom and elsewhere in the school.
