This role is based in Newent for a forward thinking and innovative company who are keen to grow their team!

Your duties will span across the following areas: 

- Management responsibility
The post is responsible to the Office Manager or their nominated deputy.

 - Customer and Public Contact
To manage the telephone and door entry systems in a professional, polite and efficient manner.

 - Correspondence
To open and distribute incoming mail. To prepare and despatch written communications in an accurate professional manner.

 - Purchase Orders
To prepare and place purchase orders such that the needs of the originating person or department are met.

 - Sales orders
To administer sales orders such that customer and Surcotech requirements are achieved.

- Product shipment
To arrange and coordinate product shipments. To include production of delivery notes, invoicing required for shipment. Training to be completed as required.

 - Product Classification
Management of our Product Classification systems, to input data into the product classification, safety data sheet and product labelling systems to ensures accurate documentation to satisfy the current regulations. Maintaining our COSHH and Risk Assessment records.

 - Documentation
The completion of documentation, both accurately and clearly in compliance with relevant procedures. Documentation includes amongst others shipping documentation, invoices, product labels, purchase orders, manufacturing instructions, product specifications, technical data sheets, quality manuals and environmental manuals.

 - Maintenance
To arrange and coordinate both routine and non-routine maintenance visits and contracts.

 - Personnel
To administer personnel tasks such as training, holiday and sickness records.

 - Auditing
To conduct audits as requested by the Office Manager.

 - Fire and Security
To test fire and security systems as required.

 - Health and safety
The post holder will comply with environmental and health and safety procedures.

 - Flexibility
When workload demands the post holder may be required to perform additional tasks or to assist the laboratory or production departments.
