Your new company
You will be working for a charitable organisation based in London, you will sit within their main procurement team as a Buyer for PCU Products.

Your new role
The Supply & Inventory Team has responsibility for product sourcing, price negotiation, purchasing and controlling stock levels to match business requirements. The post requires, in conjunction with the Lead Buyer and Lead Supply Analyst, the day to day management of all PCU-related products, including the running of the stock planning and ordering system.

Your new responsibilities
Manage the day to day control of all PCU-related products (Print, Clothing and Uniform), ensuring up to date product information, competitive pricing and updating the cost savings register

Efficiently develop and control PCU-related products with key Business Partners as part of the overall supply initiative in conjunction with Supply & Inventory Team

Be responsible for the accuracy of stockholding for print products and Training Resource Packs (TRP) at offsite supplier warehouses vs SAP Business One system stock, investigate and resolve stock reconciliation discrepancies in conjunction with Lead Supply Analyst and Supply Analyst, plus other Supply & Inventory Team colleagues as appropriate

Effectively manage the stock planning and buying process for PCU-related products, generate and process purchase orders when required, oversee stock transfers (call offs) and TRP production builds, expedite supply of low stock items and coordinate all direct delivery shipments

Proactively contribute to achieving overall Supply & Inventory Team targets and daily and monthly KPI’s through effective communication, efficient organisational skills, high attention to detail and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite

What you'll need to succeed

• Educated to GCSE Level or equivalent (Grade C and above)
• Experience of Purchasing in a Distribution Environment
• Ability to use Microsoft applications at intermediate level
• Experience of business partners & supplies to ensure supply to agreed schedules
