Reed Exeter are currently exclusively partnering with a UK based Learning & Development company to recruit a Business Operations Manager to join the business on a permanent basis.

Our client specialises in the design and delivery of bespoke training programmes and learning solutions that reflect the individual requirements of every organisation. Through working in partnership with their clients, they are able to develop, deliver and project manage global programmes that can be delivered in over 20 languages and adapted to reflect the needs of people from a diverse range of cultures.

The Business Operations Manager is a newly created position within the organisation and has been developed in order to manage the additional demands on the business due to growth.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Manage the day to day operations of the project management team to ensure all training programmes are delivered on time and in line with critical success factors
- Supervise the day to day work of employees to ensure a high quality service is delivered to customers
- Work with Directors to ensure the company has the adequate and suitable resources to complete its activities (e.g. people, materials, equipment etc.)
- Work with the Finance department to support with the analysis and interpretation of financial information and to provide monthly and adhoc reports as requested by the Directors
- Manage the internal invoicing system to ensure that all services are invoices on a timely basis and that margins can be calculated and tracked
- Manage website supplier to ensure the ongoing development and implementation of the e-learning system
- Manage IT supplier to ensure all internal IT systems are fit for purpose and project manage the implementation of a new CRM system to manage client contacts
- Support the Client Services Director in business development activities, contributing to the development of customer proposals and representing the company at events and business meetings
- Organise and attend marketing events for customers
- Work with the Directors to identify and new areas of business to enhance the growth of the organisation

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with excellent project management skills with a proven track record in leading staff to achieve operational goals. In addition the successful candidate will need to be well organised, customer focussed and have a good grasp of working closely with the financial representation within a business. You will also require excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and will be comfortable in working with a diverse range of IT systems.

In return our client is offering a generous salary of up to £35,000, company pension, 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays and free on-site parking.
