One of the UK’s most exciting leisure groups is looking for a Business Development Manager to maximize sales opportunities across all their London venues and proactively increase incremental and new business.

As a Business Development Manager, you will actively research and pursue large group opportunities, exclusive hires, agency event leads and business to business event sales. You will be required to create strong guest and business relationships and you must thrive on exceeding sales targets.

You will host regular showcases and FAM trips in all of the London venues and possess knowledge of all packages and offerings and how these can be bespoked to guest needs. It will be paramount you gain intimate knowledge of all venues and how they can maximize opportunities and individual requirements.

Working closely with the Operations/Events Manager and Head of Events/Marketing/Reservations, you will recognise trends of returning guests to maximize sales opportunities. You will identify potential clients and the decision makers within their organisation, initialising contact as appropriate to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities and completion of sales.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be both passionate and knowledgeable about the events industry. Flexibility is a must as you will be required to work evenings and weekends when necessary.
