Are you currently a Business Development Manager used to working within the highly competitive utilities partner channel sector?
Are you used to achieving challenging KPIs, building strong partner relationships and skilled at helping partners sell their contracts?
REED are working with a leading and growing company in Newbury, West Berkshire where you will be part of a small team of field-based Business Development Managers with the sole responsibility of creating relationship with new & existing partners.
This is a nationwide field based role (furthest up North usually Manchester) with the intent to grow the number of partners through business development but also by motivating existing partners to sell contracts to their existing base, whilst achieving KPI's - focussing on revenue growth and retention. You will devise acquisition strategies through effective and documented account planning and also agree marketing strategies and campaigns with partners, working alongside the internal marketing team. You will also have very close relationships with the Internal Account Management team to ensure you have a good overview of all accounts including new business and renewal pipeline. There will be face to face meetings that you will need to attend at partner sites to conduct sales training and review meetings, and there will also be a focus on constructing strong proposals to deliver effectively to customer or via partner relationship.
- Use of Salesforce and understanding of reporting functions
- Utilities industry experience - telecoms energy, gas, electric, water etc
- Thorough understanding of Channel Partner Sales
- Proven sales and negotiation skills with partners
Salary Package: Salary negotiable plus £6,000 car allowance plus commission (last 12 months have averaged £600 - £1000 per month)
Benefits: 23 days A/L plus bank holidays (3 must be held for Xmas shutdown), free car parking and pension.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 08.30 - 17.00, WFH allowed if not local to Newbury.
