Business Development Manager
£40,000 with OTE of £70,000 plus company car or car allowance
Reed are currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join their client, a leading producer of convenience food products. This is a career defining opportunity where you’ll be responsible for growing the company’s presence in the UK market predominately targeting the food retail sector including the big 4 supermarkets.
This is a new business role where you will be responsible for developing relationships with retailers in a bid to replicate the success they’ve experienced in other markets.
To succeed in this role, you’ll have experience of:
• Working in a sales driven environment where you have won new business and maximised opportunities with existing customer accounts
• Negotiating with food retailers, ideally with an existing network of contacts in the food retail sector
• Presenting to large corporate clients to win new business
• Working with national level buyers within the food retail sector
