Working within the commercial team, you will be researching and analysing different market sectors, identifying those which offer greatest potential for business development, and highlighting leads and other useful market information. You will also be supporting in marketing campaigns and in the development of other initiatives to grow additional revenue streams. There will be an administrative element to the role too, for example creating presentations and information packs, and maintaining accurate client records.
You will need excellent communication skills and the ability to adopt different communication styles to suit different audiences, as you will be liaising with a variety of senior managers and stakeholders, and you’ll also be involved in meetings, presentations and attending trade shows. Strong planning and organisation skills also required, together with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines. Good IT skills will also be required, including experience of MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
This position could be particularly well suited to a business graduate, ideally with commercial placement experience, but applications are equally welcome from candidates who do not hold degrees but have closely relevant work experience.
