Business Administrator - Reed Specialist Recruitment / Reed Technology SDC, Manchester

Reed Technology is the IT recruitment arm of Reed Specialist Recruitment. Reed Technology's Manchester SDC (Service Delivery Centre) currently have a new opening for a Business Administrator to provide administrative support for a team of 9 IT recruitment Account Managers. The office is a genuine success story and as per the most recent management accounts is ranked in the top 1% across RSR for net income and growth. The team are focused on the provision of IT contract resource to RSR's premier clients including global banks, FMCG, and numerous central and local government bodies.

Remit: The role is focused on 2 core areas:

1. Business Administration - The processing of new contractor bookings and contract paperwork for Limited / Umbrella company contractors in line with SLA's. Processing contractor expense claims. Ensuring that all processes, activities and documentation adhere to Reed compliance policy, interfacing with Reeds compliance, policy and audit teams as appropriate. Resolving contractor booking, payroll and invoice queries involving liaison with various internal and external client accounts and accounts payable contacts. Day to day office administration (scanning, filing etc), the procurement of stationary and any ad hoc requests on behalf of the National Service Delivery Manager.

2. Candidate Screening administration - Administering the end to end process of new contractor screening and compliance for each placed contractor. Processing of all required documents to ensure we adhere to Reed and end client compliance policies. Uploading of documentation onto the relevant screening portal, ensuring 3rd party requests are actioned and chased actively throughout. You will also be required to work closely with the Reed screening department ensuring all client SLA's are met.

The Person: You will have a proven record in administration including first class organisational skills and impeccable attention to detail. Any exposure to the recruitment market would be useful. Well developed MS Excel user skills are required as you will be responsible for the ongoing management of key performance reports. You will have adept customer service skills to enable you to manage contractor queries effectively. Any previous experience of compliance, audits, candidate screening systems and/or payroll would be well received.
