Reed Education is working with a very successful village school. Who provide a happy and stimulating environment in which pupils feel secure, trusted and valued.
We require an experienced leader with professional qualifications who has an excellent understanding of child developmental needs. Our childcare provision is strongly play based and provides a service for parents and the school, but predominantly focuses on the needs of the 4-11 year olds in attendance. Children receive a simple meal, have a chance to play and enjoy their time with friends.
As the Breakfast Club Childcare Leader you will be involved in all aspects of the provision but additionally supervise the play assistants to plan, set up and supervise activities from cookery to games to small world activities. All staff members need to be friendly and kind, patient but with a firm approach to behaviour management ensuring a happy, safe environment.

Staff are expected to take part in ongoing and necessary training, for example food handling and first aid. Whilst some of this may be bespoke, some of this may involve extended time, for example during one or more of the 5 annual school INSET days. Staff from the wrap around care are very much included within the whole Bentley CE School staff team and an important link between home and school for pupils and their families.

understands how a busy school community works
is passionate about learning and keen to develop professionally
can demonstrate good standards in literacy and numeracy in order to model correct usage to children and support their learning
