REED are actively working with a fantastic creative industry client based in Wiltshire who are actively recruiting for an experienced bookkeeper/finance officer to join their fantastic business.

Your role will be to provide full financial control of the business and therefore you will need to be experienced in using Sage 50 accounting coupled with previous financial experience and line management responsibilities.

Our client is flexible in approach and is therefore able to offer this role out on a part time or full time basis dependent on your requirements (between 26 - 37 hours a week) and therefore the role can be worked across 4 days a week or 5 days a week subject to your personal requirements.  

The benefits package is:
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 (full time equivalent)
Bonus:  Discretionary
Benefits:  Private Medical Cover for yourself and Family after 1 year of service
Hours:  Flexible as per above based on your requirements, however office hours are 8.30am to 5.30pmn with 1 hour for lunch

Your duties will include:


- Sales invoicing
- Credit control & debt chasing
- Manage & pay supplier & crew invoices
- Quantum & crew expenses, mileage & overtime
- Direct Debit payments
- Liaise with Foreign exchange companies
- Petty Cash (occasional)
- Liaise with Payroll
- Liaise with Accountant
- Manage/Liaise Bank 
- Manage/liaise company pensions
- Bank reconciliations
- VAT Returns & EC Sales List (Quarterly)
- Deal with VAT queries on shows abroad (Europe)
- Show budgeting with Project Managers
- Work closely with Office Manager, Co-ordinator & management
- Annual Budgeting & Business planning

Book Keeping 
- Liaising with USA
- Expense claims, log data etc


- Managing staff holiday time (with Manager & MD)
- Managing sick pay/time off
- Managing Company Private Medical Insurance cover

In order to be successful within this role you will need to be:

- Experienced in Sage (essential)
- Qualification in either bookkeeping, accountancy, financial or business management
- Previous experience in supervising staff
