Traditional Bookkeeper required to manage the finances for a family-run distribution company in Northampton on a Part-Time basis.
Working 25 to 30 hours a week you will be responsible for all accounting duties up to Trial Balance.
Reporting to the Group Accountant but working closely with the General Manager your duties will include:
• Double-entry bookkeeping
• Maintaining General Ledger
• Purchase Ledger & Sales Ledger
• Logging, coding and posting of supplier invoices
• Recording and posting of sales invoices
• Allocating and posting transactions
• Cash Book and Journal Entries
• Reconciliations
• Multicurrency
• Payroll
To be considered for this position you must be AAT Qualified or have a proven and demonstrated history working in similar roles.
Ideally you will have worked for a distribution company previously or in the automotive industry and be very experienced working with imports and exports/ goods in and out.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and traditional Bookkeeper who enjoys taking ownership of the company accounts.
