My client in the Stevenage area is looking for an Assistant Bookkeeper to join their expanding finance team.

Your duties will include:
- Posting the Daily Bank payments to the Ledger
- Bank reconciliations (high volume)
- HP & Loan reconciliations
- Inputting Purchase Ledger invoices for Overhead expenses, obtaining authorisation and paying (The role has 20-25 small, non trading supplier accounts) full monthly reconciliation to statement
- Processing nominal cheques
- Processing travel expense cheques
- Assisting with the Month End procedures, Year End processes and VAT returns (must have working knowledge)
- Assisting Purchase Ledger Dept and the rest of the accounts office when needed
The working hours are full time Monday to Friday.
