REED Accountancy Peterborough are exclusively recruiting for a Bookkeeper to join a small successful business in Peterborough. This busy role is responsible for all the finance functions across the business.
Key duties include -
Purchase Ledger - scanning invoices that are received by post and email. Running reports dealing with queries and liaising with managers to approve invoices.
Sales Ledger - emailing invoices to customers, raising credits against invoice, taking card payments, allocating payments.
Bank Reconciliations - Company uses Xero as their accounting software so you will be responsible for going through unreconciled bank transactions on a daily basis and ensuring that they are correctly allocated.

Monthly Management Accounts
Ideally the successful candidate will have a solid understanding of accountancy and bookkeeping principles have previous experience in a similar role and AAT qualified or similar. You must be able to multi-task and have attention to detail.
