My client are a world renowned company that are looking to recruit an experienced Bid Manager into the Bid Team. You will report into the Head of Department and be responsible for managing the entire bid process from start to finish.

Key responsibilities:
• Managing the entire bid process, working closely with all parts of the business to ensure compelling bid responses
• Creating high quality proposals
• Setting a standard which should be used as a benchmark for the team
• Taking ownership and improving the overall look of bid documentation through creative design
• Analysing internal and external feedback to support continuous improvement
• Working closely with bid contributors to develop and implement winning strategies
• Undertaking bid/no bid discussions and bid categorisation
• Developing bid plans and utilising them as a key tool
• Interacting with the wider bid team to share knowledge and best practice, and raise standards across the division

Personal skills required:

• Minimum two years’ experience in a bid management role
• Demonstrable project management experience on sizable bid opportunities
• Demonstrable creativity and innovation through production of bespoke documentation
• Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign
• Positive, determined and ambitious personality
• Effective and confident communicator and influencer, at all levels
• Superb business acumen, with a proven track record of success in bid management
• Strong attention to detail and skilled in editing copy
• Outstanding organisational and project management skills
