As the Benefits and Payroll Manager you will pay an integral role in the processes revolving around Benefits, Pensions, Payroll and car fleet for the companies 450+ employees.

Summary of your responsibilities:
To work in partnership with the business to:
-Create a smooth running payroll function which supports both Ethypharm UK and Martindale Pharma businesses and to proactively partner with the business to provide front line Payroll, Benefits and HR support.
-Initiate, lead and manage Payroll and Benefit projects throughout the business including Pension Auto-enrolment, Group Personal Pension Plans, Private Medical Insurance Plans, Life Assurance and Group Income Protection policies and management of the car fleet and car allowances.
-Manage the online discount shopping and benefits portals ensuring access for all employees and regular promote the benefits on offer. Transition all employees to the Martindale Pharma portal and rebrand with new corporate signage.
-In partnership with the Head of UK HR manage the annual pay review and bonus processes.
-Organise employee education with regard to pension planning and ensure employee understanding of the company benefits provided.
-Support the Head of UK HR in the harmonization of employee benefits across the Ethypharm UK and Martindale Pharma businesses.
-Work effectively as a member of the HR team in partnership with other HR team members to ensure delivery of HR services aligned to business priorities
-Responsible for providing management report and key HR matrices to inform business decision making and providing expert advice to directors, managers and employees.
-Accountable for the integrity of the ADP Payroll system , administration procedures, reports and surveys, the adherence to Tax rules and production of P40’s, P60’s and pension statements.
-Accountable for the payment of non UK international employees paid via the UK.

In addition to the responsibilities detailed below the role holder is required to lead on major projects associated with changes as a result of process improvements (timesheet reporting), implementation of technology (SAGE HR), new legislation (gender pay gap reporting), tax (changes to tax treatment of some salary sacrifice schemes) or pension changes ( changes to life time allowance, auto-enrolment).
