We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Project Manager in Solihull to work on behalf of the Council, this will be on a contracting basis for 6 to 12 months.
You will be working as part of the strategic land and property Team managing the development and delivery of projects within the Accelerating Housing programme and Town Centre Development and investment programme.
The role is responsible for assisting, organizing, and controlling project activities under the direction of the Property Programme Manager and relevant Project Manager. Under these two programmes sit a number of projects of varying size and complexity, which will be utilising the Councils assets.
Degree in a relevant subject with demonstrable relevant work experience in construction/Property Project of Programme Management.
Experience within Housing Development
Experience of setting up and maintaining management information systems and performance reporting
Experience work working with a wide range of major stakeholders (e.g. regional, national, international and government)
Experienced and working knowledge and application of programme co-ordination and/or management skills and proof of successful delivery
