My client based in King's Lynn is dedicated to developing educational toys, games and learning aids for children.

I'm recruiting for an Assistant inventory and forecasting co-ordinator to work as part of a busy Operations team.

The main duties will include:

• Managing inventory and the re-order of our vendor supplied products to ensure it          
  meets the requirements of the sales forecast/demand.
• Co-ordinate with our vendors to ensure production and shipment of goods is on time
  and all the relevant documentation is received and accurate.
• Update and maintain inventory data within our internal system.
• Co-ordinate the transition of amended product versions to manage the stock and
   communication of changes internally.
• Reporting and communicating operational performances against a set of KPI’s.
• Updating and maintaining key data including collating & maintaining sales forecasts
  within the system for the purposes of re-ordering stock.
• Assist the Inventory Manager and Head of Operations in various ad-hoc tasks.
• Be pro-actively involved in the development of the role and that of the department with
  a view to making it more efficient and effective.
• Liaise with the Inventory Manager to gain sufficient knowledge to assist in covering    
   various department tasks during times of short term absence i.e. sickness/holiday.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:-

• Computer literate – MS Outlook, Word and strong Excel skills.
• Previous experience of working in a purchasing/forecasting role.
• Excellent communicator (verbal and written).
• Structured & methodical approach to work with great attention to detail.
• Organised and calm under pressure.
• Able to work on own initiative but also play a key part within a team.

Working hours are Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, offering a competitive salary
