My client, a global consumer durable business based in Manchester is now looking to recruit a Assistant Brand Manager to join their marketing team. Whilst supporting two Brand Managers on various brands, you must have some brand management, marketing communications, product marketing or trade marketing experience within a B2C or B2B environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Supporting Brand Managers you will assist with the development and delivery of strategic brand plans at both B2B and B2C level, across Europe to ensure challenging growth and profit targets are achieved
Adhering to brand guidelines and tone of voice 
Assisting with the brand proposition, brand communication and brand range across offline and online channels 
Achieving overall brand sales and profit supporting B2C and B2B channels 
Developing, owning and executing annual strategic brand plans alongside the Brand Managers
Understanding distribution channels, customers and consumers intimately to deliver insights to product brand growth
Working closely with all Sales teams to share objectives and harmonise customer promotion plans
Presenting compelling sales arguments to customers, making recommendations
Delivering consistency, clarity & single-mindedness at every brand touch point.
Precise briefing to retail customers
Liaising with third party agencies
Devise and execute ‘B2C’ and ‘B2B’ marketing initiatives for instore display, pos, space planning etc
Design, advertising, public relations, sales promotion, pos and digital/social media 
Managing and delivering a new product development and innovation pipeline to hit all customer range windows for both B2B and B2C markets
Competitor and shopper insight reporting and analysis
Compiling Multi-lingual packs and sku rationalisation
Support budget management and ROI delivery
Attending events/trade exhibitions, uk and abroad
Any other Ad Hoc projects

Skills Required:
Educated to Degree level
Must have some experience of brand marketing, product marketing, marketing communications or trade marketing within a B2C or B2B sector 
Preference would be fmcg/consumer durables/consumer product/agency sector 
Ability to devise and implement strategic marketing plans 
Experience of brand marketing, product launches, ROI, budget mgnt, promotions, pos, instore displays, research, advertising, brochures, leaflets, sales presentation packs etc
Trade marketing experience, ie space planning, shopper insight, would be desirable 
Some knowledge of digital marketing/social media channels
Ability to support 2 Brand Managers 
Good presentation skills
Strong communication skills
Fluent in german or french - desirable
Excel, PowerPoint, Word competence
Commercial acumen 
Salary up to £30k
Flexible hours (35hr week) - (1.30pm finish once a week)
